whole quail are an excellent option for meal enhancement for raw fed dogs, or a light durability chew for small dogs (or cats!)

always supervise your dog while chewing, and ensure they have access to fresh water.

our low temperature dehydration process preserves the collagen matrix of the bone to protect against splintering and ensure that any pieces that may break off are  smooth edged. broken pieces that are small enough to be swallowed should be  removed promptly as consumption may result in gastric obstruction. all bone products present potential hazards - we believe that with appropriate supervision bone chews provide benefits in dental health and mental enrichment that outweigh these risks.

about the farm:
alert bay farm is a small family farm located near the village of alert bay on cormorant island, bc. a multi-use farm, their aim is to provide fresh vegetables, meat, and eggs for their community, as well as provide exploration and education opportunities through the hosting of farmhouse workshops. their quail are raised indoors to protect them from predators and reduce flight risk, as quail are easily able to establish populations in non-endemic habitats.
