our low temperature dehydration process preserves the collagen matrix of the bone to protect against splintering and ensure that any pieces that may break off are  smooth edged. broken pieces that are small enough to be swallowed should be  removed promptly as consumption may result in gastric obstruction. all bone products present potential hazards - we believe that with appropriate supervision bone chews provide benefits in dental health and mental enrichment that outweigh these risks.

alert bay farm is a small family farm located near the village of alert bay on cormorant island, bc. a multi-use farm, their aim is to provide fresh vegetables, meat, and eggs for their community, as well as provide exploration and education opportunities through the hosting of farmhouse workshops. Their unique rabbit program has been developed via careful cross breeding to improve growth rate, size, and coat colour. primarily raised in spacious off-ground hutches to reduce parasite risk, the rabbits are also given outdoor pen access as the weather permits.
